I found Iran a truly fascinating country – its quanat system of
irrigation is an ingenious feat of engineering while the various gardens we saw are
laid out and very functional – they certainly create the atmosphere for which they
designed. While the exterior of buildings are rather bland the inside courtyards
up for this.
Fruit trees, flowers and streams on a grid system certainly create a very calming
The colours and vibrancy of the tile work I experienced was really stunning – I
fully tiled mosque and those that are totally simple with adobe decorations really a
behold. The use of colour, fabric, water and fruit were highlights.
Never did I feel threatened or in danger – a joy to experience. One of the best
is truly the friendliness of its people. They were also willing to advise, assist
I look forward to coming back and seeing more weaving, carpets and cooking which are
Being an American and considering the history of Iran-US
relationships since 1979 and considering the words from President Donald Trump,
my trip to Iran. My actual experience was overwhelming positive. People in the
and friendly. I was asked many times where I was from and when I replied the USA I
smiles and a welcome. I would love to return and do it all over again.
To all who wonder whether one should go to Iran, my firm
recommendation is a strong yes. The people are lovely; the culture is fantastic; the
great. We were lucky enough to have Fotros as the tour organizers. They were
helpful, always pleasant and wonderfully effective. While there is lots to do and
do try to get beyond the capital for the rest of the country merits considerable
hope to come back.
The conference was so well organized and we were never left without
your team's caring and acute attentiveness to whatever was required. So very much
In particular, I owe a huge thank you to Mahnaz for all her kind and patient
all-too-often changing itineraries, let alone the visa issue us Canadians
could not have had such a wonderful time in your beautiful country without her
Yes, I have fabulous memories of Iran!!! And, I must say that they were made all the
with your organization's careful and excellent planning. The six day post conference
absolutely amazing!!! The sites, the food, the accommodations, the transportation,
were incredible! But, to me the highlight of the tour was our outstanding guide,
Ghaderpanah!! He made everything come alive with his very special additions to our
of what were were seeing and experiencing! He is indeed a treasure for which I was
thankful!! If I return to Iran some day, I would dearly hope that it could be Masoon
once again guide me through the history and beauty that is Iran!
Again, my great appreciation for making my trip so very memorable!! Kudos all round
special thanks to Mahnaz and that treasure of yours, Masoom!!

I’m finishing a little diaporama from personal photos to share with you and friends
We went visit Iran in 4, two middle age italian couples in July 2018. We climbed the
Mountain and Fotros Travel Agency from Tehran (recommended us by Mina Ghorbani our
guide), organized the rest of the trip: shuttle bus from/to airport, reservation and
tickets Tehran-Shiraz and all the hotel reservations in Tehran, Shiraz, Pasargadae,
Yazd, Varzaneh, Kashan. We agreed to pay the agency at our arrival in Tehran. All
were perfectly done, we had a continue communication during the trip with Maryam
Fotros, that was following us and no problems occurred. We recommend this agency for
professionality, high level services, kindness at reasonable costs.
I hope everything is fine in Tehran dreaming to visit Iran again, by sure with your
Travelling to Iran and around it with Fotros Agency was a great experience for me.
Visiting all the beautiful blue mosques gave me really metaphisical feelings despite
difference between islam and my religion - roman catholicism.
Many interesting museums (National in Tehran and Armanian in Esfahan - the most) and
historical places as very impressive Persepolis.
I also liked excellent palaces and mansions in gardens and crowded bazars full of
colourful jewellery, carpets, textiles and spices. Not to mention about very tasty
- my favourite dishes were barley soup and lamb kebab. Also rice with saffron and
vegetables - no matter if boiled, grilled or fresh - and fruit. Iranian people are
friendly, helpful and have fantastic sense of humour.
Spain – Salamanca
Hello! and on the way to Salamanca! sad to leave your beautiful country.
We have loved your country, it is a pity that you do not make yourself known in the
world and that they fear. What Europe or America know about Iran is truly a stigma.
And traveling with your agency has been a wonderful experience, I tell you because I
have experience in dealing with agencies for our trips.
The only problem has been the full board because we have gained a lot!
I will pass your contact to some friends (Beatriz and Ramón) for when they want to
because they have asked us for information.
Thank you very much for everything ... you have been very kind all the time and for
clients this attention is very important. I do not know if you are owner or employee
the agency but the trip has been perfect except for small details that I will tell
later to help you.
I think the modern part of the cities could also include in visit from the car to
another idea of how to live in the wealthy part.
I will recommend to everyone!
I'll give your contact
A big hug!!
