Join one of the most popular trekking tour in Iran. Trek to the famous castle of Assassins, Alamut Castle in Alborz Mountains. This adventure tour will take you to the famous series of castle belonging to 11th century. You will get to know the history of the great leader, Hassan-e Sabbāh, and his ideology behind the assassinations and enjoy the beautiful trekking path from Qazvin to Mazandaran. 

Itinerary

1 | IKA -Tehran

Arrival at IKIA International Airport.Transfer to the hotel. Check-in at hotel and rest. Overnight stay in Tehran (Hotel)

2 | Tehran-Lambesar Castle – Ovan Lake

After breakfast at the hotel, drive towards Qazvin, visit Lambesar Castle, move toward Alamut area, drive to Ovan Lake, camping there. Overnight stay in Ovan Lake (Tent-B – Lunch box -D)

3 | Ovan Lake- Alamut

Walking gently around the beautiful lake, which is next to Khashchal mountain and the locals’ fruits gardens, drive towards Gazorkhan, head towards Alamut Castle* O/N Alamut (Tent/local house- B- Lunch box -D)

4 | Alamut-Aten-khoshke dasht-Pichebon

Trek upward in Alamut valley toward the village of Aten, move toward Khoshkeh dasht, drive to Pichehbon (One of the three ways of trekking) O/N Pichebon (Tent- B- Lunch box -D)

5 | Picheh bon-Salambar-Maran

In the morning, Trek from the south of Alborz to its’s northern face, we reach to 3000 altitude to pass the nomad’s way up to Marran (Nomads’ road), O/N Marran (Tent-B-Lunch box -D)

6 | Marran – Seh Hezar – Tonekabon -Caspian Sea- Tehran

Marran – Seh Hezar – Tonekabon -Caspian Sea- Tehran In the morning, Trek and walk toward Seh Hezar Rural District, drive towards the Caspian sea, return back to Tehran through the spectacular Chalus Road ( a spectacular mountainous road with magnificence landscapes) O/N Tehran (Hotel –B-D)
